From Grindleford station we follow the Derwent to Leadmill Bridge, ascend to Hazelford and then along the High Brook valley to Stoke Ford. After the valley we cross Eyam Moor and make our way to Eyam. On the return journey we follow the high level path to Stoney Middleton and then follow the Derwent via Froggart back to Grindleford11mile / 17.7km

From the layby we head north on the east side of the Upper Derwent Reservoir before following the path up Howden Dean to 'Lost Lad' viewpoint. The path continues along Derwent Edge passing 'Cakes of Bread', 'Dovestone Tor', 'Salt Cellar', 'White Tor' and 'Wheel Stones' before descending to Ladybower Reservoir. We finish with a short walk along the reservoir and through the visitor centre to the layby. Overal rising from 230m above sea level to 538m asl.xxxxx11mile / 17.7km
